Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernhard Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws an overhand right that lands on Davies's shoulder, as Davies tries to avoid the shot.
Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davies misses with a hook. Taylor ducked under it nicely.
Taylor lands a nice leg kick that just misses Davies's sensitive parts.
Taylor throws a hook but Davies blocks it.
Davies throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A lazy left from Davies finds it's target.
Taylor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Davies.

Taylor throws out a loose jab but Davies uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Davies counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bernhard Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davies ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Taylor moves away.
Davies misses with a hook. Taylor ducked under it nicely.

Taylor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Taylor jabs Davies to the body, keeping him at a distance.

and Davies counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Davies displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Taylor throws out the jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davies tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Taylor was well out of range. Poor timing from Davies.

Taylor wobbles Davies with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Taylor dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Davies to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
