Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hank Martin! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker clinches. Walker misses with a knee to the head. Walker working some nice short punches in the clinch. Martin is trying to pull guard but Walker turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Martin is trying to pull guard but Walker has him pressed against the cage. A shot in the inside from Walker. Walker is struggling to control the position. Walker misses with the head strike.
Walker content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Walker tries to work over Martin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Walker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Martin backwards. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Walker struggles to land a body shot inside as Martin controls his hands.

Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Walker. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Knees in the clinch landing for Walker.
Martin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Walker struggles to land a body shot inside as Martin controls his hands.
Martin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Martin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Johnny Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hank Martin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin has had enough of the clinch but Walker keeps him there for the moment. Walker lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. The referee is keeping an eye on Walker - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Martin jumps guard but Walker turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Martin gets control of Walker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Martin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Walker looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Martin controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker looking to pass the guard. Martin controlling Walker's posture.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Hank Martin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Martin misses with an uppercut. Walker saw that one coming. Martin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Walker unloads a knee to the mid-section. Martin lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Walker throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Martin blocks it with crossed arms. Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut. Martin fails to pull guard.
Walker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Martin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Martin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Walker with a knee to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walker lands a body punch. Martin looks winded! Martin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Walker to keep the fight standing. A body shot lands from Walker.
Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut. Walker lands a body shot in the clinch.
Walker is working Martin over against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A short right hand to the side of the head by Walker. Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jab from Walker. Martin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Good standup being displayed there by Walker as he connects with a hook. Martin wants to clinch but Walker slips to the side and Walker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Martin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Martin throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Martin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Walker forces Martin back against the cage and clinches. Martin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Walker lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Hank Martin has been cut. Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Walker scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Martin is rocked! Walker digs a right hand into Martin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Martin's gas tank. Walker drops Martin with a big knee straight up the middle! Martin is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! Martin is still on wobbly legs! Can Walker finish him? Walker drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Martin right on the button. Martin goes down! Walker follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Walker gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Walker! Johnny Walker gave a mention to Hilo Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
