Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lemon Kwon Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lotus comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 27 - 1, fighting out of London, Tommy Lotus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lemon Kwon Hoi! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lotus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Lotus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kwon Hoi moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lotus stalks Kwon Hoi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kwon Hoi's face. Kwon Hoi staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Lemon Kwon Hoi has been cut. Lotus connects with a body shot that sends Kwon Hoi's belly button to the back. Lotus gets the takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Lotus has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Lotus gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kwon Hoi looking to throw knees to the head but Lotus is blocking nicely.
Kwon Hoi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lemon Kwon Hoi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lotus shoots in and gets a takedown into Kwon Hoi's guard. Lotus content to stall in guard here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kwon Hoi can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tommy Lotus just wasn't active enough. Kwon Hoi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lotus paws at him with a jab and circles away. A head kick misses from Kwon Hoi. Lotus is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Lotus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lotus wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lotus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kwon Hoi doesn't manage to clinch there - Lotus circles away.
Lotus closes the distance and clinches. Lotus is looking to break free of the clinch but Kwon Hoi has double underhooks. Kwon Hoi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kwon Hoi lands a knee to the head.
Kwon Hoi with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Lotus wants to get back to striking at distance but Kwon Hoi won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kwon Hoi prevents Lotus from breaking the clinch. Lotus is trying to force a seperation but Kwon Hoi has the dominant position. Kwon Hoi has Lotus pressed against the cage, preventing Lotus from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lotus blocks the elbow strike.
Lotus has had enough of the clinch but Kwon Hoi keeps him there for the moment. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lotus wants to break the clinch but can't.

Kwon Hoi stalling in the clinch but Lotus improves position. Lotus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kwon Hoi throws a front kick aimed at Lotus's knee but Lotus avoids it well. Lotus scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lotus controlling from side mount. The ground and pound from Lotus seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Kwon Hoi's face as Lotus controls the position. Lotus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
We're going to have a standup here because Tommy Lotus wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kwon Hoi motions for Lotus to come forward. Kwon Hoi throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Lotus has closed the distance and engaged Kwon Hoi in a clinch.

Lotus can't break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lotus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lotus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lotus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lotus controlling the pace for now. Lotus dominating with strikes here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lotus looking to control and managing it successfully. Lotus throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kwon Hoi because Lotus loaded up on that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Lotus dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lemon Kwon Hoi's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kwon Hoi misses with a wild combination.
Lotus tries to clinch but Kwon Hoi is having none of it. Kwon Hoi wants to clinch up but Lotus keeps it at a distance. Lotus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kwon Hoi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lotus controls the pace. Lotus passes Kwon Hoi's left leg - he's now in half guard. Kwon Hoi is in trouble now - Lotus has advanced to mount! Lotus thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lotus moves to back control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lotus slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Lotus seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kwon Hoi for as long as he can get away with. Lotus is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Kwon Hoi is tapping out! This one is all over!
