Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Drwal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drwal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Young throws a jab when Drwal was well out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Drwal checks a leg kick.
Young throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Drwal.
Young scores with a jab. Drwal acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Drwal misses with a head kick.
Young just misses with a punch to the body.
Young misses with a hook.
Drwal avoids the body shot from Young.
Young is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Drwal.

It looks like Chris Young has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Young. Drwal does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drwal stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Young has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Young there as he acknowledges the shot.
Young looks to land a combination but Drwal avoids it well.
Young wants to land a leg kick but Drwal is out of range.
Young tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Drwal was well out of range. Poor timing from Young.
Young closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Drwal catches Young with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Drwal cracks Young with an uppercut from hell and Young crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Drwal's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Tomasz Drwal has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Drwal throws the kick towards the body but Young avoids it.
Drwal lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Young takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Drwal lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Drwal slips under a jab from Young.

Young misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drwal throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Drwal connects with the punch.
Young throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice straight punches there by Drwal. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Drwal.
Drwal drops Young with a huge uppercut! Young drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Drwal is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tomasz Drwal!
A relieved looking Tomasz Drwal thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
