Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Kin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gotrek Felix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Samuel Kin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gotrek Felix! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooh!!! Felix has knocked Kin down with a huge combo! Felix steps away and waves a wobbly Kin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Kin is rocked!
It looks like Samuel Kin has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Felix ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kin moves away. Oh Kin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Felix throws a series of punches but Kin avoids them all with ease. Kin seems to have got his legs back now. Gotrek Felix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Felix misses the shot to the body. Kin scores with a takedown into Felix's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Felix is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kin is aware though and is defending well. Felix had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kin defends it easily. Felix not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kin stands up from Felix's guard - Kin perhaps looking for a knockout. Kin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Felix as he avoids it easily. Felix tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kin is able to avoid easily. Felix throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kin counters with a shoot takedown. Felix fights it but they end up in guard. Kin drops back looking for a leg! Felix is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Felix manages to kick Kin off! Kin jumps back into Felix's guard. Felix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Felix working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kin looking to pass the guard. Kin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Felix keeping full guard, as Kin tries to pass. Felix throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

No, Kin has managed to get both his arms back between Felix's legs - danger averted. Felix has his foot on Kin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kin works his way back into a safe position though. Kin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kin stands up from Felix's guard - Kin perhaps looking for a knockout. Kin is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Felix lands a two punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Felix throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kin dodges the punch combination from Felix.
A cross from Felix lands. Kin on the wrong end of a nice hook. Good leg kick by Felix there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A chopping leg kick lands by Felix. Felix connects with a looping right hand.
Felix drops Kin with a huge uppercut! Kin drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Felix is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gotrek Felix!
