Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikira Stag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikira Stag has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leroy closes the distance looking to clinch
and Stag counters with a nice double leg into side control. Leroy won't be happy with that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Leroy is not content to let Stag control the position.
Stag looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Stag prevents Leroy from escaping the position.
Stag wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Leroy, who protects the arm well.
The ground and pound from Stag seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Stag lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Leroy down.

Stag looks to land a combination but Leroy avoids it well.

Stag dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Leroy. That did some damage!

Stag lands with a hook. Leroy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Leroy throws a hook but Stag blocks it.

Stag shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leroy but Leroy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Leroy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Stag manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Stag lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Stag ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leroy moves away.

Nikira Stag showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Stag throws a hook to the side of Leroy's head but Leroy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Leroy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Leroy counters with a three punch combo that has Stag backing up. Stag nods at Leroy to acknowledge the strikes.
Stag throws an overhand right that lands on Leroy's shoulder, as Leroy tries to avoid the shot.
Stag attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Stag closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Leroy to the mat! Leroy manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stag throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leroy was covering up waiting for the punch and Stag finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Nikira Stag is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Stag has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
