Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Figgs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manson comes to the cage accompanied by MURDER MUZIK. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Manson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Figgs! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Figgs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Manson sprawls well initially but Figgs persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Manson is looking to improve his position.
Figgs decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Figgs is trying hard to land a takedown here. Manson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Figgs gets in close and instigates a clinch. Manson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Figgs. Manson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A head punch on the inside from Manson fails to land. Figgs keeps control of Manson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Manson lands with a right to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Figgs is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Manson is defending well. Manson wants to control from the top but Figgs keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Manson wants to stand but Figgs has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Manson stuffs the takedown. Figgs clinches up against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stalling in the clinch from Figgs.
The crowd are getting on Figgs's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Figgs is working for takedown but Manson is calmly controlling the position for now. Figgs lands a body punch in the clinch. Figgs lands a knee to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Frankie Figgs. Figgs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Manson is fending him off so far but Figgs persists. Nope, Manson circles away and we're back to standing. Manson tries to clinch but Figgs moves out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Manson misses the target. Manson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Figgs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Manson looks to score with a jab to the body but Figgs is just out of range. Figgs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Figgs closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Figgs controls the position from side control. Manson tries to buck Figgs off but Figgs is having none of it. Manson gets back to half guard. Figgs is taking a breather. Manson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Manson is trying to maintain the position but Figgs is very close to passing his half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Figgs throwing shots but Manson is blocking nicely. Manson trying to control from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Charles Manson wasn't doing enough on the ground. No luck with that takedown attempt from Figgs. Manson throws a hook to the side of Figgs's head but Figgs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Manson is looking to score with low kicks. and Figgs counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Manson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Figgs ducks under a wild hook from Manson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frankie Figgs dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Manson misses with a right hand and Figgs counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Manson! Figgs tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Manson is looking to get to half guard. Manson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

He's simply no match for Figgs on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Manson is looking to get to half guard. Let's hope that Figgs has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Frankie Figgs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Manson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Figgs takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Charles Manson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Figgs slips under a jab from Manson. Manson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
so Figgs counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Figgs stands up from Manson's guard - Figgs perhaps looking for a knockout. This has been an exciting period of action! Figgs fails with a takedown attempt. Manson misses with a looping right. Charles Manson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Frankie Figgs seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Manson takes a knee to the side of the body. Manson wants to break free but Figgs has control.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Manson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Figgs seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Figgs wants to sweep but no luck.

Figgs tries to bum rush Manson with a series of wild strikes but Manson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Manson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Figgs counters with a nice double leg into side control. Manson won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Manson tries to improve position but can't. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Manson throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Figgs working away. Figgs controlling from side mount. Frankie Figgs is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Figgs's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that's the end of the fight! Frankie Figgs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Figgs winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
