Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theron Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George comes to the cage accompanied by Lamb of God - Descending. Morrison has chosen Thieves by Ministry as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Theron Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
George uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morrison.
A big right from George misses.
Furious George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrison slips a jab from George.
George throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morrison's waist but Morrison gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing George off to one side.

George misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Morrison lands with a right hand.
Morrison slips a straight right by George.
Morrison ducks under a wild hook from George.
George takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
George lands with a nice body punch.
George cracks Morrison with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
George misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Morrison.

George ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
George shoots in looking for a takedown. Morrison tries to sprawl out of it but George keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morrison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Furious George. That's going to take a lot out of him.

George misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Morrison tries to close the distance and clinch up but George swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Morrison makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Morrison takes one to the side of the head.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Morrison lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and George has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from George and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Morrison connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

George looks to score with a jab to the body but Morrison is just out of range.
Morrison swings and misses with a hook to the body.
George throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

George fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Morrison closes the distance and pushes George back into the cage.
Morrison tried to land a shot to the body but connects with George's elbow.
George wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Morrison escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice defenses there by Morrison.
George throws a hook but Morrison avoids it easily.
George connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
George shoots in for a takedown but Morrison shows good takedown defense.
Morrison will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from George.
Morrison lands the left hand.

Morrison buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
George throws a hook but Morrison avoids it easily.
George gets a double leg takedown into Morrison's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

George drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Morrison dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
George wants to hit a switch here but Morrison passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for George there!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
George bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Furious George will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Morrison darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Morrison moves out of range as George strikes.
George bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
George looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Morrison is avoiding damage well.
George has hold of Morrison's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Morrison tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - George cranks the arm and Morrison screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Morrison, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Furious George!
Furious George really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Empire Threads logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
