Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Milo Coors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aodhan o hAodha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). o hAodha has chosen Cursum Perficio by Enya as his entrance music. Aodhan o hAodha is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aodhan o hAodha!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coors fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. o hAodha sprawls well initially but Coors persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Coors is working for a submission of some sort.
Coors wants to control but o hAodha is keeping him busy.

Coors looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Coors is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and o hAodha defends it well.

Coors is looking for a kimura but o hAodha is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Coors to get the leverage.
Coors wants to advance to full mount but o hAodha doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coors drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and o hAodha dives on top into guard.

o hAodha drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Coors dives on top into guard.
Coors is looking to advance position but o hAodha has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

o hAodha is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
