Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mike Hoiles!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naji lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Mike Hoiles has been cut.
Naji swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hoiles walks into a left hand.
Naji throws an overhand right that lands on Hoiles's shoulder, as Hoiles tries to avoid the shot.
Hoiles throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Naji stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Naji looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hoiles is fending him off so far but Naji persists. Nope, Hoiles circles away and we're back to standing.
Naji closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hoiles did well to prevent Naji getting side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Naji seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hoiles is trying to maintain the position but Naji is very close to passing his half guard.
Hoiles wants to get back to full guard.
Naji works his foot free and advances to mount.
Naji jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hoiles manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoiles is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Naji lands some shots froms side control.

Hoiles stops Naji from passing to mount.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hoiles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Naji. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Naji lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hoiles down.
Hoiles takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Naji is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hoiles is trying to escape and Naji transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hoiles is forced to tap! Nice work there by Naji! Very nice indeed!
