Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felipe Frulani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hawkins has managed to clinch.
Frulani wants a takedown but no success here.
Hawkins misses with a hook from the clinch.

Frulani jumps guard.
Hawkins trying to control but Frulani is working from the bottom.
Hawkins wants to pass the guard but Frulani is keeping the position.
Frulani trying to keep a closed guard but Hawkins is proving a slippery customer.
Frulani bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hawkins's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawkins looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Hawkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frulani. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Frulani wants to pass the guard but Hawkins is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hawkins is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Hawkins was stalling too much, according to the referee.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Frulani enables Hawkins to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Frulani manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Frulani wants to stand up but Hawkins is controlling him.
Hawkins would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Hawkins with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hawkins wants to control from the top but Frulani keeps moving.
Frulani is trying to keep Hawkins in close.
Frulani lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hawkins!

Hawkins is desperately trying to improve his position but Frulani has a good base and remains in mount.
Frulani is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Hawkins is in real trouble.

Frulani has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Hawkins is defending well but eventually Frulani manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Hawkins has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Felipe Frulani!
