Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Corpuz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Corpuz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steven Lee! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corpuz shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense. Corpuz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lee to the mat! Lee manages to get full guard. Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lee holds on and takes a little breather. Corpuz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Corpuz, into his guard. Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Corpuz is retaining full guard. Corpuz wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment. Corpuz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Lee controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corpuz wants to sweep but no luck. Corpuz has his foot on Lee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lee works his way back into a safe position though. Corpuz keeping full guard, as Lee tries to pass. Corpuz being controlled here, momentarily. Corpuz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lee is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Corpuz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lee's back instead. Despite being in a bad position, Lee is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lee showing good submission defense here.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Corpuz has got his arm under Lee's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Lee has spun round into Corpuz's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Corpuz is breathing heavily. Lee controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corpuz wants to hit a switch here but Lee passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Corpuz there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corpuz is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Corpuz tries to reverse the position but Lee maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice elbow there by Lee. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Corpuz slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Corpuz looking for submissions off his back. Corpuz is pressing down on Lee's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chris Corpuz will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

It looks like Chris Corpuz has been cut. Lee drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Corpuz's head, knocking him out cold! Lee is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Steven Lee!
