Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boulks fails to land the takedown.
Hughes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hughes lands in his opponent's guard.
Hughes with a flurry of punches that miss.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boulks has Hughes pulled in close to control his posture.
Boulks working for a triangle but Hughes defends it easily.
Hughes wants to stand but Boulks has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boulks is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hughes is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Boulks has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hughes is looking to defend but Boulks has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hughes! Boulks pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hughes taps out and this one is all over!
