The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rice misses with a double jab.
Prknjac throws a head kick that misses.
Prknjac with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Prknjac throws a nice inside leg kick.

Rice stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Prknjac.

Rice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Prknjac moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rice changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Prknjac tries to avoid it but Rice manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Prknjac to the ground. Prknjac escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Prknjac throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Kimbo Rice has been cut.
Rice tries to clinch up but Prknjac circles away and keeps his distance.
Prknjac throws a head kick that Rice semi-blocks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rice is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Prknjac.
Rice throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rice has closed the distance and engaged Prknjac in a clinch.
Prknjac breaks the clinch.
Rice scores with a jab to the body.

Rice tries to pull guard but Prknjac won't allow it.

Rice moves in looking to clinch but Prknjac pushes him off.
Prknjac throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Prknjac lands a head kick. Rice smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Prknjac counters with a big head kick but Rice shrugs it off.
Prknjac is breathing heavily.
Rice drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prknjac is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rice has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Rice decides to stand back up. Rice steps back and let's Prknjac get back to his feet.
Rice scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Prknjac pushes Rice off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rice throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Prknjac stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rice drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Prknjac avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Rice.
Rice tries to move to mount but Prknjac blocks the move with his legs.
Rice stands up and beckons Prknjac to his feet.
Rice scores with a takedown into Prknjac's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rice stands and steps away. Prknjac gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Rice swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Rice doesn't manage to clinch there - Prknjac circles away.

Rice throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Prknjac counters with a good, hard body kick but Rice shrugs it off.
Rice clinches up against the cage.
Prknjac landing knees to the head.
Rice is trying to break free.
Prknjac wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rice can't break the clinch.
Prknjac prevents Rice from breaking the clinch.
Prknjac tries to break the clinch but Rice is controlling the position.
Rice manages to break the clinch.
Rice lands a right hook to the body.
Rice tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Prknjac counters with a thumping low kick.

Prknjac breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Some wild striking there from Rice.
Rice throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rice lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Prknjac misses the jab.
Rice slips a jab and a cross from Prknjac.
Rice lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Prknjac sprawling to the canvas. Rice follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Prknjac hang on?
Prknjac is rocked!
It looks like Krele Prknjac has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rice is just content to waste time from the top position. Prknjac takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Oh Prknjac is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rice throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Prknjac seems to have got his legs back now.
Rice stands and steps away. Prknjac gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Prknjac avoids the body shot from Rice.
Rice takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Rice throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Prknjac stumbling backwards into the cage! Prknjac bounces back off the cage towards Rice, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Rice lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Rice celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kimbo Rice!
