Haws has chosen Turnaround as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alexander Bolinev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Bolinev throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Haws cracks Bolinev with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Haws has Bolinev up against the cage in a clinch.
Haws crunches a lovely knee into Bolinev's ribcage.
Haws unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bolinev lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Haws lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Alexander Bolinev has been cut.
Bolinev is looking for a takedown.
Bolinev wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Haws has him pressed against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Haws turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Haws manages to end up in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haws trying to control the position but Bolinev is working away.
Bolinev is working to avoid the ground and pound but Haws connects with a decent elbow.

Haws scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bolinev to see if he's OK.
Haws creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bolinev sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Haws works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
