Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Javier Monorrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Monorrey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Fry ! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fry connects with an inside leg kick. Fry falls off balance throwing a combination
and Monorrey counters with a lovely straight right hand! Monorrey sizes up Fry with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Monorrey lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fry throws a nice outside leg kick. Fry throws a nice looking combination but Monorrey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Monorrey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fry throws a sloppy head kick and Monorrey moves out of range easily. Nice jab there from Monorrey. Fry takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fry with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Monorrey to score with a decent uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Monorrey connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fry . Fry circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Fry takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Some wild striking there from Fry .
A telegraphed right hand from Fry misses the target. Fry throws a nice looking combination but Monorrey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fry blocks the body kick.
Fry misses with a few strikes there.
Monorrey wants to land a leg kick but Fry is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fry misses with a lunging right hand
letting Monorrey counter with a right hand. Fry has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Monorrey finds it's way round the side to connect with Fry 's head. Fry throws a one two combo.
Monorrey has taken the fight to the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Fry 's face as he tries to break the clinch. Monorrey cracks Fry with a nice body shot. Monorrey softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Fry is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Fry tries to break the clinch but Monorrey is controlling the position. Fry wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Monorrey has him pressed against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Monorrey lands with a short head shot on the inside. A nice right hand lands inside from Monorrey. Monorrey is leaning against Fry and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Fry is trying to push Monorrey away but Monorrey has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Monorrey digs a right hand into Fry 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Fry 's gas tank. Monorrey lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Fry or not.

Monorrey gets through Fry 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Monorrey taking a breather. A short right from Monorrey.
Fry is rocked! Monorrey throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Monorrey is pushing Fry up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Monorrey lands a body punch. Monorrey lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fry backwards. Fry is still on wobbly legs! Can Monorrey finish him? Monorrey pushes Fry back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Monorrey lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Monorrey dips a shoulder and cracks Fry with a mighty uppercut! Fry falls back against the cage and Monorrey unloads with a barrage of strikes! Fry is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Monorrey screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Javier Monorrey!
