The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Handy or perhaps it was just good defense by Zelenofia which made him look bad.
Zelenofia gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Zelenofia has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Handy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Zelenofia is working for takedown but Handy is calmly controlling the position for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Handy moves in looking to clinch but Zelenofia pushes him off.

This has been an exciting period of action!

and Handy counters with a good low kick that Zelenofia was not able to check.
Handy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zelenofia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Handy somewhat.
Zelenofia takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Zelenofia tries to keep at a distance but Handy has taken the fight into the clinch.

Handy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zelenofia is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Handy has Zelenofia pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Zelenofia manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Handy jumps guard but Zelenofia stands there with Handy around his waist. Handy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Zelenofia has had enough of the clinch but Handy keeps him there for the moment.

Handy is trying to drag Zelenofia to the mat but Zelenofia just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
