The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Ass or perhaps it was just good defense by Ollongren which made him look bad.
Ass throws a head kick that misses.
Ass lands a two punch combo.
Ollongren slips under a jab from Ass.
Ass ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ollongren bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ass looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ass clinches up against the cage.
Ass is looking for a takedown.

Ass wants to take a breather but Ollongren is having none of it.

Ollongren escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ass gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ollongren manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ass tries to lock up and control but Ollongren gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Ollongren moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ass has worked his arm free - good work by Ass!

Ass is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ollongren off and has taken his back!
Ollongren breaks Ass's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ass bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ollongren's guard.
Ass passes Ollongren's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ollongren regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ass distracts Ollongren with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ass's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Ollongren is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ass wants to control from the top but Ollongren keeps moving.
Ass is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ollongren is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Ass shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ollongren but Ollongren pushes him off and we're back to square one.
