Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jimmerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Ngeimai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Jimmerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lance Ngeimai!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jimmerson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jimmerson wants to pass to mount but Ngeimai is defending the position.
Jimmerson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jimmerson wants to pass to mount but Ngeimai is defending the position.
Ngeimai looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jimmerson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Jimmerson.

Ngeimai rushes Jimmerson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jimmerson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jimmerson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ngeimai after a bit of a struggle.
Jimmerson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ngeimai gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ngeimai is trying to break the clinch but Jimmerson is controlling him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ngeimai can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ngeimai is looking for a sweep.

Ngeimai manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jimmerson's best efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jimmerson wants to take a breather but Ngeimai is having none of it.

Jimmerson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ngeimai doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jimmerson.

Ngeimai wants to control but Jimmerson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ngeimai manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jimmerson on his heels. He'll look to pass Jimmerson's guard now, I'm sure.
Jimmerson pulls Ngeimai in close to prevent any damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ngeimai tries to free his leg and advance position but Jimmerson is retaining full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ngeimai throws an elbow that misses. Jimmerson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ngeimai's guard. Nice move by Jimmerson!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Jimmerson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Nice sprawl there from Ngeimai as Jimmerson shoots in.

and Ngeimai counters by clinching up.
Ngeimai has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Jimmerson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ngeimai uses from the top position.
Ngeimai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jimmerson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ngeimai changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jimmerson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jimmerson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ngeimai is breathing heavily.
You can see the frustration on Jimmerson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jimmerson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Well, if Jimmerson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Ngeimai looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jimmerson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lance Ngeimai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jimmerson is looking for a triangle but Ngeimai pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ngeimai got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jimmerson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ngeimai has managed to get both his arms back between Jimmerson's legs - danger averted.

Lance Ngeimai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ngeimai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
