He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Olafur Ragnar looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ragnar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Darkov did well to prevent Ragnar getting side control.
Ragnar looks winded!
Darkov tries to get to full guard but Ragnar has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Darkov is positioning himself well to prevent Ragnar advancing to mount.
Darkov is looking to improve his position.
Darkov is trying to stand.
Ragnar is keen to just control but Darkov is a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Olafur Ragnar was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ragnar takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Darkov.
Darkov is putting a hurting on Ragnar here, landing some big shots from side control.

Darkov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ragnar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Darkov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Darkov is working to tighten is grip on Ragnar's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ragnar has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Darkov is really squeezing tight and eventually Ragnar passes out! Darkov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
