Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between LieHarder Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dixon's choice of entrance music: It's A Fight by Three 6 Mafia. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, LieHarder Machete! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mason Dixon! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machete looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Machete really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Machete fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Machete tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dixon swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for LieHarder Machete. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dixon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Machete looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Machete looking for submissions off his back. Dixon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dixon wants to pass the guard but Machete is defending well. Dixon working Machete over with strikes. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Machete is staying active underneath Dixon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Machete is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dixon pulls his head out easily. Dixon scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon is working for a submission of some sort.
Dixon is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Machete has managed to free his arm - good work. Dixon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Machete wants to get back to full guard. Machete is looking to control Dixon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Machete avoid being mounted? Machete actively working from the bottom here. Machete is breathing heavily. Machete is defending against the submission attempts here by Dixon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Machete misses with a takedown attempt and Dixon counters with a takedown into side control. Dixon decides to stand back up. Machete tries for a takedown but Dixon circles away easily and Dixon counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dixon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Machete has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dixon doesn't defend quickly enough and Machete has managed to lock this one up! Can Dixon escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Machete on a fantastic submission victory.
