Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Albert Stoker!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noel stuffs the takedown attempt from Stoker. Stoker gets slowly back to his feet.
Noel takes one to the side of the head.
Stoker lands an overhand right.
Noel slips a jab and a cross from Stoker.
Stoker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Stoker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Noel is out of range.
Stoker is looking to chop away at Noel's legs.
Stoker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stoker jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Stoker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Noel is able to avoid easily.

Noel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stoker sprawls well. Stoker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Noel gets slowly back to his feet.

Noel shoots in looking for a takedown. Stoker tries to sprawl out of it but Noel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stoker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown by Stoker or perhaps it was just good defense by Noel which made him look bad.

Stoker throws a hook but Noel blocks it.
Stoker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Noel avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Noel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Noel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Noel gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Stoker manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Noel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stoker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stoker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Stoker is looking to work some ground and pound but Noel has wrist control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Noel working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Stoker has passed into half guard!
Stoker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Noel knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Noel is refusing to be controlled, as Stoker sits in half guard.
Stoker tries to pass to full mount but Noel defends it.

Noel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stoker pulls his head out easily.

Stoker is working for a kimura but Noel is defending it quite comfortably.
Noel is refusing to be controlled, as Stoker sits in half guard.
Stoker slips a nice elbow through Noel's hands, connecting with Noel's forehead.
Noel moves into full guard.
Stoker trying to stand up but can't free himself from Noel's guard.
Stoker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Stoker wants to get up but he can't break Noel's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Noel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stoker defends well.

Noel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Stoker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stoker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stoker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Noel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Albert Stoker has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Noel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Stoker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Stoker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Stoker cracks Noel with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
