Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake The Bulldog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake The Bulldog!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin connects with a right hand. The Bulldog shakes it off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Martin. The Bulldog does a little dance to reset his feet.
The Bulldog throws a series of punches but Martin avoids them all with ease.
The Bulldog tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Martin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The Bulldog does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Martin lands with a hook. The Bulldog tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Martin is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martin throws a hook to the side of The Bulldog's head but The Bulldog sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Martin seems to have got his legs back now.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jake The Bulldog.
Well Martin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
