Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Wrassle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Wrassle!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrassle looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mousasi keeping full guard, as Wrassle tries to pass.
Wrassle wants to control from the top but Mousasi keeps moving.
Wrassle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mousasi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wrassle is in close to Mousasi's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Mousasi is trying to keep Wrassle in close.
Wrassle throwing strikes but missing.
Wrassle throws a big right hand that misses.
Wrassle throws an elbow that misses. Mousasi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wrassle's guard. Nice move by Mousasi!

Wrassle slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Wrassle wants to pass the guard but Mousasi is keeping the position.
Wrassle looking to sit in guard and control but Mousasi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mousasi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wrassle is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Wrassle is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Wrassle tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mousasi trying to control the position from guard on top but Wrassle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Gerard Mousasi wasn't doing enough on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wrassle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mousasi keeps working.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mousasi is not content to let Wrassle control the position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
