Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kato Aspenia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Kunnas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kato Aspenia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karl Kunnas!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aspenia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kunnas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kunnas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aspenia.
Good leg kick by Kunnas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Aspenia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kunnas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kunnas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kato Aspenia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Kunnas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kunnas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Aspenia.
Kunnas scores with a shot to the body.
Aspenia lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kunnas circles away quickly and effectively.
Aspenia keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kunnas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aspenia. That did some damage!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Aspenia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

letting Kunnas counter with a right hand.
Aspenia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Aspenia on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kunnas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Aspenia jabs Kunnas to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Aspenia throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Aspenia lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kunnas circles away quickly and effectively.
Aspenia is breathing heavily.
Kunnas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kunnas throws a nice looking combination but Aspenia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kunnas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Kunnas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Aspenia on the side of the head.
Aspenia is rocked!

Aspenia backs away from a small jab... but Kunnas lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Aspenia crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Kunnas with a spectacular finish!
