Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Woima Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock comes to the cage accompanied by PSY - Gangnam Style. Karhu has chosen House of Pain - Jump Around as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lance Rock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Woima Karhu!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rock checks a leg kick.
Karhu takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Woima Karhu has been cut.
Rock blocks a leg kick.
Rock throws a predictable looking body shot
and Karhu counters with a low kick, right behind Rock 's knee.
Rock tries to move into range but Karhu moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Karhu moves into the clinch.
A body shot lands from Rock.

Rock tries a body shot but Karhu blocks it.
Rock has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Karhu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Come on Rock - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Rock wants to take the fight to the mat but Karhu manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Rock gets through Karhu's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Rock tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Karhu's elbow.

Karhu is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rock is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Karhu to the mat. Karhu regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Karhu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rock's guard.
Karhu wants to control from the top but Rock keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Woima Karhu was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Karhu darts in and clinches Rock up against the cage.

Rock scores with a shot to the side of Karhu's head.

Karhu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Karhu manages to avoid it.
Rock takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rock misses with a straight left.
Karhu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rock napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Karhu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karhu trying to control the action but Rock is working from the bottom.

Rock is being controlled here.
Rock tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Karhu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rock wants to control but Karhu postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rock is trying to improve his position.
Karhu wants to control but Rock is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Woima Karhu dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Woima Karhu's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A low kick from Karhu misses
and Rock counters with a nice uppercut.
Karhu misses with a looping right.
Rock misses with a body shot.
Karhu just misses with a punch to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Karhu.
Rock throws a hook to the side of Karhu's head but Karhu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Karhu throws a solid leg kick but Rock takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Karhu.
Rock blocks a head kick by Karhu.
Rock throws a low kick but Karhu moves out of range easily.
Karhu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rock has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Karhu finds it's way round the side to connect with Rock's head.
Rock misses with an uppercut. Karhu saw that one coming.
Karhu ducks under a wild hook from Rock.
Karhu throws a leg kick which misses Rock's front leg but catches the back leg as Rock tries to avoid it.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Karhu.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karhu.
Rock has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Karhu.
Karhu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rock walks into a left hand.
Karhu has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A good leg kick by Karhu.
Rock shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Karhu defends it nicely.
A clash of legs there as Rock blocks the low kick.
Karhu scoring well with a low kick there.
Karhu throws a leg kick
and Rock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Karhu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karhu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rock shoots and misses
and Karhu counters with a big head kick but Rock shrugs it off.
Karhu catches Rock with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Karhu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Rock checks a leg kick nicely.
Karhu lands a jab to Rock's midsection.
Karhu tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rock dips to his left and cracks Karhu with an uppercut!
Karhu fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rock is out of range.
Karhu lands with a kick to the temple. Rock shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

A lazy left from Karhu finds it's target.
Rock connects with the punch.
Rock fails with the takedown
and Karhu counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lance Rock. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Karhu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rock checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rock takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Karhu darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Woima Karhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Karhu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Karhu misses with a low kick as Rock jumps back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rock takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Karhu steps in with a hook that catches Rock right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Karhu follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rock looks absolutely devastated.
