The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cena with a poor takedown
and Wright counters with a right hand to the body.
Wright throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like John Cena has been cut.

Wright is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cena shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wright pinned against the cage. Wright gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Cena. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cena shoots in for a takedown but Wright shows good takedown defense.
Wright throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cena on the side of the head.
Cena closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Cena could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wright looks to score with a jab to the body but Cena is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright sends Cena crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wright is motioning to the referee to let Cena up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Cena is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wright moves in close and cracks Cena with a massive right hand! Cena, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Wright!
