PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dean Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Lavy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winchester comes into the arena with Kansas-carry on my wayword son blaring out of the sound system. Lavy has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dean Winchester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anderson Lavy!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavy is looking to clinch but Winchester is avoiding it.
Lavy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Winchester defends it nicely.
Winchester throws an overhand right that lands on Lavy's shoulder, as Lavy tries to avoid the shot.
Winchester missing with a left hand there. Lavy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Winchester tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lavy wants to clinch up but Winchester keeps it at a distance.
Winchester lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Anderson Lavy has been cut.
Lavy fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lavy rushes Winchester and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lavy misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lavy has Winchester pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Winchester manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lavy looks winded!
Winchester is trying to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lavy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Winchester pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dean Winchester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Lavy.
Winchester cracks Lavy on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lavy falls backwards against the cage. Winchester follows up with more strikes that drop Lavy to his knees. Winchester keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lavy! This one is all over!
