Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cliff Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrique Cicillo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn shoots in for a takedown but Cicillo Jr shows good takedown defense.
Cicillo Jr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gunn can pounce on him.
Cicillo Jr takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Gunn throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cicillo Jr shoots in and drives through. Gunn sprawls well.
Gunn throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gunn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gunn pushes Cicillo Jr away with a front kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cicillo Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Gunn circles away.

and Cicillo Jr counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gunn's guard now.

Gunn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cicillo Jr is fending him off so far but Gunn persists. Nope, Cicillo Jr circles away and we're back to standing.

Gunn sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Gunn tries to keep at a distance but Cicillo Jr has taken the fight into the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Henrique Cicillo Jr will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Gunn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cicillo Jr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gunn.
Horrible takedown by Gunn or perhaps it was just good defense by Cicillo Jr which made him look bad.
Gunn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cicillo Jr goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - Cicillo Jr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gunn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Cicillo Jr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gunn avoids it really well and circles away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gunn dives in and grabs Cicillo Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cicillo Jr pushes down on Gunn's head and hops out.

Cicillo Jr has Gunn up against the cage in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gunn prevents Cicillo Jr from breaking the clinch.
Cicillo Jr tries to land knees in the clinch but Gunn avoids the damage to the body.
Cicillo Jr jumps guard and drags Gunn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Cicillo Jr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cicillo Jr has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Cicillo Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cicillo Jr tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gunn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cicillo Jr on the ground.

Gunn is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Henrique Cicillo Jr has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gunn is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Gunn wants to control but Cicillo Jr is having none of it.

Gunn jumps guard but Cicillo Jr stands there with Gunn around his waist. Gunn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cicillo Jr is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Cicillo Jr extends the arm and Gunn is forced to tap!
