Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bas Severn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oleg The Beast!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Beast moves into the clinch successfully.
The Beast wants a takedown but no success here.
Severn is pressed up against the cage. The Beast has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Severn down to the mat. Severn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Severn swings for the body but The Beast moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Severn, as that shot connected.
It looks like Oleg The Beast has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice inside leg kick there by Severn. That's going to slow The Beast down.
Severn is looking to land body kicks.
Severn lands a front kick.
The Beast looks winded!
Severn lands with a thumping leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Severn.
Severn scores with a kick to the midsection.
Severn lands a big head kick that sends The Beast tumbling to the mat! Severn takes a step backwards and waves The Beast back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The Beast is rocked!
Severn moves into the clinch.
The Beast is still on wobbly legs! Can Severn finish him?

Severn lands with a short shot to the head.
Severn working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Severn is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. The Beast can't fight it off and eventually Severn manages to take the fight to the floor. The Beast looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Severn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The Beast seems to have recovered his senses.
Severn postures up and lands a big shot to The Beast's brow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Severn tries to free his leg and advance position but The Beast is retaining full guard.
The Beast looking for a sweep. Not yet The Beast, not yet.
Severn trying to control but The Beast is working from the bottom.
Severn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of The Beast's head.
Severn landing with the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Severn prevents The Beast from getting back to his feet.
Severn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Severn passes The Beast's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Beast taking some punishment here, with Severn in his half guard.
The Beast tries to get to full guard but Severn has control of the leg.
Severn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

The Beast is not content to let Severn control the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Severn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Severn connects with a nice short shot to The Beast's temple.
Severn content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Severn working over The Beast with some ground and pound. The Beast looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Severn lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked The Beast! More strikes land and this one is all over! Severn jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
