Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Friedfichson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Friedfichson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Roberts! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friedfichson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Roberts to score an easy takedown into full guard. Roberts sitting in guard here, content to control. Friedfichson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Roberts controlling from the top position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Cody Roberts wasn't active enough on the ground. Roberts closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Roberts seems content to control.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Cody Roberts hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Roberts fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Friedfichson. Roberts rushes Friedfichson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Friedfichson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Roberts has him pressed against the cage.

Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roberts looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Roberts looking to finish with strikes here!
Friedfichson is breathing heavily. Roberts throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roberts sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Friedfichson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roberts on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like Roberts might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Friedfichson throws a head kick that misses and Roberts counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Roberts. Roberts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Roberts bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Friedfichson gets tackled into the cage by Roberts. Roberts maintains the clinch. Friedfichson wants to break free but Roberts has control.
Friedfichson is trying to break the clinch but Roberts has him pressed against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Roberts lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cody Roberts dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Roberts drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Roberts is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Friedfichson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Roberts is taking a breather. Friedfichson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Friedfichson! Roberts is working for a guillotine from mount but Friedfichson frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roberts is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Friedfichson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Roberts thowing shots but they're missing. Roberts sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Roberts thowing shots but they're missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cody Roberts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Roberts feints and then cracks Friedfichson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Friedfichson down. A head kick misses from Friedfichson. Friedfichson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Roberts scores a takedown into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. BOOM! Roberts connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cody Roberts has got the better of the ground game so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roberts get's back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Roberts bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Roberts controls the position from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Roberts misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

A decent looking cross lands there for Roberts. Cody Roberts seems to be getting the better of the standup. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Roberts shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Friedfichson's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roberts gets to his feet. Friedfichson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Roberts looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Friedfichson! Poor strikes thrown by Roberts there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The referee warns Friedfichson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Roberts throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Friedfichson has his hands clasped together but Roberts breaks the hold and Friedfichson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Roberts!
