The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernstein tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bernstein tries to clinch up
and Pid counters with a left and a right that stings Bernstein.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bernstein.
Bernstein closes the distance and pushes Pid back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Pid has knocked Bernstein down with a huge combo! Pid steps away and waves a wobbly Bernstein back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Bernstein tries to land a front kick but Pid steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Pid uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bernstein.
Bernstein is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pid is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Bernstein.
Bernstein has closed the distance and engaged Pid in a clinch.
Bernstein has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pid avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Pid wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Come on Pid - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Bernstein is looking to control Pid's arms but Pid gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bernstein has his back to the cage.
Pid's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pid drops Bernstein with a beautiful combination! Bernstein stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pid is looking for the KO!
Bernstein is rocked!

Pid drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Bernstein's head, knocking him out cold! Pid is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stu Pid!
