The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

o closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
o tries to stand but Suzuki is controlling his head.
Suzuki tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Suzuki manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Suzuki moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Suzuki seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
o wants to stand but Suzuki has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
