Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Chilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daisuke Numazawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chilson comes to the cage accompanied by Somewhere I Belong. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chilson fails to land with a series of punches.
Chilson throws a series of punches but Numazawa avoids them all with ease.
Numazawa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chilson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chilson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Numazawa.
Numazawa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chilson throws a head kick but Numazawa moves out of range.
Chilson connects with a looping right hand.
Numazawa misses with a body kick.
Chilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chilson stalks Numazawa and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Numazawa's face. Numazawa staggers backwards, shaken.

Chilson is staying active underneath Numazawa, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Chilson tries to kick Numazawa off but Numazawa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Numazawa thows a huge punch but Chilson dodges it nicely.
Numazawa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Numazawa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chilson keeps working.
Numazawa is looking to stall here but Chilson recovers full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Numazawa won't allow Chilson to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Numazawa is working Chilson over with some ground and pound from side control.
Chilson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Chilson tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Numazawa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Numazawa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Numazawa tries for a kimura but Chilson is defending well.
Numazawa has hold of Chilson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Chilson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Numazawa cranks the arm and Chilson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Chilson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
