Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willian Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AC/DC - TNT. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rodrigues fails with the takedown.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rodrigues has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Rodrigues fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. Rodrigues is now in Silva's guard.
Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rodrigues is taking a breather. Silva says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well Rodrigues has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
