Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Trigg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Wageman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trigg comes into the arena with Mama Said Knock You Out blaring out of the sound system. Wageman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Trigg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Wageman! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trigg has closed the distance and engaged Wageman in a clinch.
Trigg has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wageman uses from the top position. Trigg is trying to control the position but Wageman postures up. Trigg manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Trigg unloading with bombs! Trigg trying to control but Wageman is having none of it. Trigg wants to control but Wageman has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wageman is trying to get back to full guard. Wageman looks gassed! Trigg works his way into side control. Wageman is looking to reverse the position. Trigg staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Trigg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wageman keeps working. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wageman is looking for a sweep. Trigg is looking to take a break and control but Wageman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Trigg decides to stand back up. Trigg steps back and let's Wageman get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wageman stuffs the takedown attempt from Trigg. Trigg gets slowly back to his feet. Trigg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Trigg shoots in looking for a takedown. Wageman tries to sprawl out of it but Trigg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Wageman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Trigg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trigg throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wageman's waist but Wageman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trigg off to one side. Trigg shoots in for a takedown but Wageman shows good takedown defense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Horrible takedown by Trigg or perhaps it was just good defense by Wageman which made him look bad. Wageman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Trigg blocks a head kick by Wageman.
Trigg shoots in for a double leg but Wageman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Trigg looks for a takedown but Wageman sprawls well. Trigg digs a good hook to Wageman's body.
Trigg shoots in for a takedown but Wageman shows good takedown defense. Wageman is looking to clinch. Wageman stuffs the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Trigg dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
No joy there for Wageman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Trigg shoots in and drives through. Wageman sprawls well. Frank Trigg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trigg. Frank Trigg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Trigg pushes Wageman up against the ropes in a clinch. Trigg has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wageman uses from the top position. Trigg is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Trigg is keen to just control but Wageman is a slippery customer. Trigg is controlling the pace.
It looks like Trigg is going to stand back up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Trigg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wageman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Trigg wants to stand up but Wageman is controlling the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Trigg escapes and gets back to his feet. Trigg looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Trigg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Trigg throws a combination that misses and Wageman counters with a nice double leg into guard. Trigg scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wageman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Trigg trying to control the position from guard on top but Wageman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Trigg wanted to stand there but Wageman had control of the position. Trigg preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wageman is working an open guard so Trigg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wageman stuffs the takedown attempt from Trigg. Trigg gets slowly back to his feet. Wageman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trigg. Wageman takes a swing at Trigg's ribcage but misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by Trigg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trigg is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wageman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Trigg trying to control the action but Wageman is working from the bottom. Trigg is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wageman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Trigg dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Trigg fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Trigg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wageman pinned against the cage. Wageman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wageman goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trigg. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Trigg. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trigg closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wageman circles away. Wageman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Trigg drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Trigg stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Trigg looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wageman! Trigg controlling the position easily from mount. Trigg goes for an armbar but Wageman turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Wageman. Trigg tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trigg working a defensive guard but Wageman manages to pass into side control anyway.
Trigg has control of an arm but Wageman manages to advance to Wageman's back! I really don't envy Trigg right now.
Trigg just trying to survive but Wageman is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trigg tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Wageman prevents Trigg from getting the reversal. Trigg wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Trigg breaks Wageman's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Trigg trying to control but Wageman is working from the bottom. Trigg is really struggling to control Wageman but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wageman has his foot on Trigg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trigg works his way back into a safe position though. Wageman working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Trigg has passed into half guard!
Trigg is controlling the pace.
Cameron Wageman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wageman wants to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Trigg. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Trigg, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
