Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by Mary Jane. Guida has chosen Stupid Kid - Alkaline Trio as his entrance music. Thurgood Jenkins could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ray Guida's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guida throws a low kick but Jenkins moves out of range easily.
Guida throws a leg kick that misses.
Jenkins throws a jab when Guida was well out of range.
Guida keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jenkins.
Jenkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Guida lands with a slapping head kick.
Guida feints and then cracks Jenkins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jenkins down.

Guida throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jenkins sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Guida lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A looping hook to the body misses from Guida. Jenkins does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Jenkins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Guida has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jenkins finds it's way round the side to connect with Guida's head.

Jenkins throws a low kick but it's checked well by Guida.

and Jenkins counters with a low kick, right behind Guida 's knee.

Guida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guida wants it to stay on the feet.
Jenkins fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Guida to the ground. Jenkins is now in Guida's guard.
Guida is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jenkins is controlling him.
Guida has momentary wrist control but Jenkins slips an elbow through the middle.
Guida is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jenkins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
