Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Matlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca Tse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tse has chosen Clutch - Big News I as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Matlock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luca Tse!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tse shoots in for a takedown but Matlock shows good takedown defense.
Matlock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tse was well out of range. Poor timing from Matlock.
Matlock cracks Tse with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Tse takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Matlock on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Matlock connects with a right hand. Tse shakes it off.
Matlock scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tse doesn't seem bothered though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matlock moves away.
Matlock steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tse.

Matlock catches Tse napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Tse to the canvas!


Tse is rocked!
Matlock content to stall in guard here.
Tse is still in real trouble! Can Matlock finish him?
Tse wants to sweep but no luck.
Matlock forces his way into half guard.
Tse trying to control here.
Tse seems to have recovered his senses.
Tse wants to sweep but Matlock has passed to side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tse tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Matlock wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Tse tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Matlock takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tse tries to hold on but Matlock postures up.
Matlock looking to control and managing it successfully.
Tse is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tse tries to lock up and control but Matlock gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Matlock content just to control the position here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tse is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Matlock prevents Tse from getting the reversal.
Matlock trying to control but Tse is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tse can do anything to dispel that myth.
Matlock sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Tse is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Matlock controlling his opponent.
Tse is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tse is just holding on here. Matlock manages to take his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tse trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Matlock is riding his opponent, not letting Tse buck him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ben Matlock dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Tse misses with a hook
and Matlock counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Matlock lands a right hook to the body.

Tse pushes Matlock up against the cage in a clinch.
Tse lands a right hand.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Matlock.
Matlock misses with the head strike.
Matlock lands with a left to the head.
Matlock lands a body punch.
Matlock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tse has him pressed against the cage.
Matlock lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Matlock makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Tse fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Matlock lands a nice shot to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Matlock.
Tse lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tse is trying to stall.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tse.
Tse blocking some punches.
A hook to the body from Matlock.
Tse is breathing heavily.
Matlock misses with the head strike.
Matlock blocking some punches.
Matlock lands a body shot.
Matlock is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Matlock lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Tse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matlock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A lazy left from Matlock finds it's target.
Matlock drops Tse with a naaaaasty hook - Tse is in real trouble here! Matlock dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Matlock!
