Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Rance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lawrence Charles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke Rance! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rance looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rance gets a double leg takedown into Charles's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Charles looking for subs off his back but Rance has passed one foot through into half guard.
Charles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rance scores with a couple of nice shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rance is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rance scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Charles tries to roll over but Rance keeps him under control. Rance winds up and cracks Charles with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Rance seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. This has been an exciting period of action! Rance working over Charles with some ground and pound. Charles looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rance slips a nice elbow through Charles's hands, connecting with Charles's forehead. Rance looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Charles has hold of Rance's hands but Rance slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Charles is trying is best to control the position here. Rance seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rance landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ground and pound from Rance. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rance stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rance lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Charles quite badly. Charles pulls Rance in close trying to recover. Rance postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Charles on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Charles doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duke Rance!
