Adams misses with the body kick

and Ruan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Adams's guard.
Adams wants to control the position but Ruan says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Ruan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Ruan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Ruan has hold of Adams's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Adams tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ruan cranks the arm and Adams screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Adams, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
