Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Waltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, It's Time. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waltz throws a combination that misses and Tyson counters with a nice leg kick. Waltz misses with a two punch combination.
Rick Waltz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice inside leg kick there by Tyson. That's going to slow Waltz down. Waltz misses with a series of wild punches.

Tyson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Waltz on the ground. Waltz wants to stand up but Tyson is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Waltz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tyson wants to control but Waltz is keeping him busy.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Waltz in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Waltz tries to circle away but Tyson has him pinned against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alex Tyson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tyson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
