The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa clinches up against the cage.
Balboa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Burrows swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nate Burrows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Burrows creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Balboa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Burrows avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Burrows waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Balboa. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Balboa to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Burrows slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Burrows wants to control from the top but Balboa keeps moving.

Nate Burrows has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Burrows swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Balboa.

Burrows postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nate Burrows dominated that round.
That's time! Balboa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Burrows is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Balboa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Burrows defends it nicely.
Burrows paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Balboa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Balboa is trying to drag Burrows to the mat but Burrows just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Burrows lands a shoulder strike.
Burrows pushes Balboa back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh Balboa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Burrows lands a hook that snaps the head of Balboa backwards.
Burrows using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Burrows dips a shoulder and cracks Balboa with a mighty uppercut! Balboa falls back against the cage and Burrows unloads with a barrage of strikes! Balboa is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Burrows screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate Burrows!
