Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Cotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xuang Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miguel Cotto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Xuang Lee! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cotto lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lee closes the distance looking to clinch and Cotto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lee takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lee shoots and misses and Cotto counters with a nice uppercut. Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
Lee moves to clinch but Cotto breaks away and Cotto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cotto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cotto connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lee. Lee circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Cotto misses with a series of wild punches.
Lee tries to clinch and Cotto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cotto with a body punch. A glancing blow. Lee darts in trying to clinch and Cotto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lee has his takedown stuffed and Cotto counters with a lovely shot to the body. Miguel Cotto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xuang Lee. Lee with a poor takedown and Cotto counters with a nice uppercut. Cotto stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Cotto jabs Lee right on the nose. Lee blinks but takes it well. Lee on the wrong end of a nice jab. Lee gets tackled into the cage by Cotto. Cotto maintains the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cotto smiles and moves away.
Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cotto's waist but Cotto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Lee fails with the takedown and Cotto holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cotto is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Lee tries to clinch up and Cotto counters with a stiff right hand. Cotto throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range. Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lee tries to clinch up and Cotto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee needs to keep his hands up - Cotto had a free shot at his head there. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lee. Lee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cotto counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cotto lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lee backwards. Cotto with a knee to the head.
Cotto displaying some good clinch control by pressing Lee up against the cage. Cotto lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cotto lands a body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cotto lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lee or not. Lee looks winded! Lee takes a knee to the side of the body. Cotto controlling the action here for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Cotto dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lee closes the distance looking to clinch and Cotto counters with a stiff right hand. Lee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cotto holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Cotto lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Xuang Lee has been cut. Cotto stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A body shot lands from Cotto.

Lee is rocked! Good body shot from Cotto.
Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Cotto finish him? Lee is breathing heavily. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Cotto. This has been an exciting period of action! Cotto working Lee over with knees to the body. Cotto makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Cotto will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lee up against the cage. Cotto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cotto pounces like a tiger and cracks Lee with a vicious hook! Lee is down but not out! Cotto follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Miguel Cotto!
