The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza scores with a head kick. Cabral tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Cabral stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Souza.
Cabral misses the shot to the body.
Cabral steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Souza.
Cabral takes one to the chin there.
Anderson Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cabral fails to land with a series of punches.
Both fighters circling a little - Souza finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Souza will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Souza misses with a few strikes there.
Cabral blocks a jab.
Souza connects with a jab.

Cabral is rocked!
Cabral gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Souza points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Cabral wakes up just in time to hear Souza thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

After winning the bout, Anderson Souza thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
