Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sampaio gets tackled into the cage by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.
Johnson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sampaio up against the cage.
Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Sampaio has him pressed against the cage.
Johnson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Sampaio working hard to break the clinch.
Johnson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Johnson gets underhooks to prevent Sampaio's takedown attempt.
Johnson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Johnson managing to block the knees to the body from Sampaio.

Johnson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sampaio.
Johnson looks to land a left hand but Sampaio moved out of range nicely.
A cross from Johnson lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Johnson misses.
Sampaio lands with a kick to the temple. Johnson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Sampaio pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Johnson back to the cage. Sampaio follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sampaio loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.
Sampaio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson cracks Sampaio with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sampaio is rocked!
Sampaio walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Sampaio limp body while Johnson jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Johnson!
