Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Carter Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter Williams lands a jab to Taylor's midsection.
Carter Williams throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Carter Williams throws a head kick that misses.
Taylor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter Williams circles away quickly and effectively.
Taylor looks winded!
Carter Williams fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Taylor on the side of the head.
Carter Williams throws a hook but Taylor blocks it.
Carter Williams lands with a hook. Taylor tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Carter Williams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Taylor has time to react.
Taylor takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Taylor takes a jab right on the kisser.
Taylor takes one on the button.
Carter Williams connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carter Williams connects with a looping right hand.
A slapping leg kick lands for Carter Williams.
Taylor ducks under a wild hook from Carter Williams.
Carter Williams bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Taylor's head backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taylor tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Carter Williams bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Taylor is rocked!
Carter Williams is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Carter Williams loads up on a big right hand but Taylor slips the punch.
Taylor is still on wobbly legs! Can Carter Williams finish him?
Carter Williams thumps Taylor with a low kick.
Taylor seems to have recovered his senses.
Carter Williams moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Taylor gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Taylor tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Carter Williams is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Taylor buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Taylor!! Taylor is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Carter Williams throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Carter Williams!
After winning the bout, Michael Carter Williams thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
