Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Goodridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederick Barbarossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gary Goodridge! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Frederick Barbarossa! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barbarossa lands with an overhand left. Goodridge drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Goodridge is working Barbarossa over with some ground and pound from side control. Goodridge lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barbarossa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goodridge in side control, throwing shots but Barbarossa defends. Goodridge throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The strikes coming from Goodridge are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Goodridge lands some shots froms side control. Barbarossa defending against the ground and pound. Goodridge throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Barbarossa managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Goodridge.
Goodridge tries to advance to mount but Barbarossa denies him. Goodridge in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goodridge in side control lands a decent elbow. Goodridge tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Barbarossa takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Check out the look on Goodridge's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Barbarossa is rocked! Barbarossa looks winded! Goodridge is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Barbarossa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Barbarossa is still in real trouble! Can Goodridge finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! A big shot lands for Goodridge! That's hurt Barbarossa! Will he recover? Goodridge fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
