Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fredrik Thordendal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milton Friedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thordendal comes to the cage accompanied by Meshuggah - Shed. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Milton Friedman! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

Thordendal shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thordendal showed some decent athleticism there. Thordendal is taking a breather. Friedman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Friedman wants to improve his position but Thordendal is controlling well.
Friedman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Thordendal controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thordendal has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Thordendal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Friedman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thordendal has managed to get both his arms back between Friedman's legs - danger averted. Thordendal controlling from the top position.

Friedman moves away from the strike by Thordendal. Thordendal throws a shot from downtown. Friedman moves away and avoids it. Friedman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Thordendal throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Friedman was covering up waiting for the punch and Thordendal finishes the takedown easily into guard. Thordendal in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Thordendal stands and throws Friedman's legs to the side, diving into side control. Friedman is not content to let Thordendal control the position.

Friedman closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Thordendal fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fredrik Thordendal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thordendal shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Thordendal works his way into full mount! Thordendal trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thordendal is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Friedman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fredrik Thordendal dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Friedman wants it to stay on the feet. Thordendal digs a good body shot into Friedman's ribs. Thordendal lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Friedman misses with a wild body shot. Fredrik Thordendal is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
