Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ship Enter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parker McQuail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Enter comes to the cage accompanied by Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal . McQuail is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Glasgow Kiss. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQuail will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
McQuail swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Enter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McQuail was well out of range. Poor timing from Enter.
A nice inside leg kick there by McQuail. That's going to slow Enter down.
McQuail takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

No joy there for Enter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

McQuail shoots in and bounces Enter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McQuail drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McQuail jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McQuail is pushing down on Enter's leg trying to pass to half guard. Enter is fighting to maintain full guard but McQuail has managed to sneak the leg through.
McQuail is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Ship Enter will probably get the nod.
