Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between General Tudman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Gentry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Gentry told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, General Tudman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Gentry! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gentry takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Tudman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Tudman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gentry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tudman has managed to get both his arms back between Gentry's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gentry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tudman trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Gentry manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Tudman wants to sweep but no luck. Gentry working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tudman's head. Gentry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tudman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tudman has escaped and now he's on top! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tudman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tudman postures up in Gentry's guard and throws a big left but Gentry blocks it. Tudman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gentry had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tudman defends it easily. Gentry keeping full guard, as Tudman tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gentry wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Tudman looking to sit in guard and control but Gentry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Tudman pushes Gentry off and gets back to his feet.
Tudman looks to land a combination but Gentry avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gentry showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tudman.
Tudman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Gentry seems keen to control Tudman's posture. Tudman trying to control but Gentry is working from the bottom. Gentry is looking for a triangle but Tudman pushes his legs off easily.
Tudman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gentry's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tudman is just content to waste time from the top position. Gentry takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Tudman with a flurry of punches that miss. Gentry working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tudman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tudman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tudman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gentry keeping full guard, as Tudman tries to pass. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gentry keeping moving, preventing Tudman from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
General Tudman dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tudman works Gentry's body with a nice hook. Tudman misses with a series of wild punches.

and Gentry counters with a straight right hand. A combination from Tudman does no damage. Gentry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tudman to score an easy takedown into full guard. Tudman wants to control from the top but Gentry keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gentry lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tudman! Gentry has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tudman's face.
Tudman is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gentry wants to control the pace but Tudman is squirming around nicely. Tudman wants to hold on but Gentry pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gentry content just to control the position here. Gentry breaks from Tudman's wrist control and lands an elbow. Gentry in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Tudman is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gentry controlling the pace for now. Oh Tudman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gentry postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Tudman in real trouble here! The ref calls for Tudman to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Gentry! Our winner, Matt Gentry, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
